SERVICE

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service govern the provision of pest control and weed management services by A1 Pest & Weed Control (ABN 74 129 475 147) to clients in Melbourne and surrounding areas. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. SERVICES

We provide commercial and residential pest control, weed management, and related services as agreed in writing or verbally at the time of booking. The scope of each service will be confirmed prior to commencement.

We reserve the right to decline or cease a service if site conditions present a risk to our technicians or if access is not provided as agreed.

3. QUOTES AND PRICING

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information provided at the time — additional charges may apply if site conditions differ materially from what was described.

We will always communicate any additional costs before proceeding with work beyond the original scope.

4. PAYMENT

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. For ongoing maintenance contracts, payment terms will be specified in the service agreement.

Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

• Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice — no charge
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice — a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted job value may apply
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows — full job value may be charged

We will always try to reschedule rather than charge a cancellation fee where reasonable notice is given.

6. CALLBACK GUARANTEE

For most standard treatments, we offer a 30-day callback guarantee. If the treated pest problem persists within 30 days of treatment, we will return and re-treat at no additional charge, subject to the following conditions:

• The site has been prepared as instructed prior to treatment
• No structural changes or new infestations have occurred
• The original treatment recommendations were followed

The guarantee does not apply to weed control, bird proofing, or ongoing contract work where reattendance is already scheduled.

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure effective treatment, clients agree to:

• Provide safe and unobstructed access to the treatment area
• Follow any preparation or post-treatment instructions provided
• Disclose any known hazards, sensitive areas, or access restrictions
• Ensure pets, children, and vulnerable persons vacate treated areas as instructed

8. LIABILITY

A1 Pest & Weed Control carries public liability insurance to a minimum of $20,000,000. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the services provided.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from pest activity, treatment outcomes, or delays in service delivery beyond our reasonable control.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website including text, design, and images is the property of A1 Pest & Weed Control and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
