Bed bug treatment Melbourne

Bed bugs don't care how clean your site is — they arrive in luggage, uniforms, deliveries and second-hand furniture, and they spread room to room fast. For accommodation, aged care, offices and transport operators, one confirmed sighting is a reputation problem on a timer. We inspect, identify, treat and verify — discreetly.

Our approach

How we handle it

Inspect & confirm

Thorough inspection of beds, furniture, skirtings, and adjoining rooms — bed bugs cluster in seams, joints and cracks within metres of where people sit or sleep. We confirm the species and map how far the infestation has spread before anything is treated. Better Health Channel's bed bug guidance covers identification basics if you want to check before calling.

Treat every harbourage

Combined chemical and heat treatment of every identified harbourage — mattresses, bases, frames, furniture joints, skirtings and wall fixtures — using registered products applied to label. Treatment is scheduled around guests, residents and staff.

Follow up & verify

Bed bug eggs survive most initial treatments, so a follow-up inspection and re-treatment 10–14 days later is built into every job — plus a written report for your records and prevention advice for housekeeping or facilities staff.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I know if we have bed bugs and not something else?

Look for rust-coloured spotting on mattress seams and bed bases, shed skins, and bites in lines or clusters on staff or guests. Bed bugs are visible to the naked eye — 4–5mm, flat and brown. If you're not sure, text a photo to 0411 859 516 and we'll identify it before you book anything.

Can you treat discreetly? We can't have a pest van outside.

Yes. Discretion is standard for accommodation, aged care and office jobs — unmarked attendance on request, treatment scheduled around guests, residents or staff, and paperwork that goes to you only.

How fast can you treat a bed bug problem?

Inspection within one to two business days, urgent cases prioritised by phone. Bed bugs spread room to room quickly, so the earlier the inspection, the smaller the treatment area — and the bill.

Do you treat offices, vehicles and workplaces, or just beds?

Anywhere they establish: offices and staff rooms, retail fitting rooms, transport fleets and depot sleepers, site accommodation on construction jobs, and logistics facilities moving used furniture or returns. Bed bugs travel in bags and furniture, not just mattresses.

Will one treatment get rid of bed bugs?

A proper program is usually two visits — initial treatment, then a follow-up inspection and re-treatment 10–14 days later to catch newly hatched nymphs. Anyone promising a single-visit permanent fix for an established infestation is guessing.
